One of the best things about living in Cincinnati is that with a just quick drive, you can be out in the countryside, exploring the beautiful rolling farmland that surrounds our city. Of course, many of these farms are private residences, but there are some that have opened up their properties to visitors so that we can also experience the charm and beauty of these hard-working farms. If you’ve ever visited Blooms and Berries Farm Market in Loveland then you know that it is one of the most enchanting places near Cincinnati. They host a number of events throughout the year and this summer they’ve added Butterfly Fest, which is sure to become a new tradition in the Queen City.
Blooms and Berries Farm Market is located in Loveland and is the perfect place to pick up some farm fresh fruits and vegetables, beautiful plants, or enjoy one of their fun-filled events.
The property is nothing short of enchanting, with a large indoor market, gorgeous flowers all around and plentiful crops growing nearby. As an operating farm, there are many people hard at work throughout the property, but it's also perfectly set up for events such as their popular Fall on the Farm and the brand new Butterfly Fest, happening this summer from July 7-15, 2018.

Butterfly Fest is a great opportunity to experience this beautiful farm during the summer and is a unique event in our area. Each weekend, over 1,000 native butterflies will be released, turning the enchanting field of Blooms and Berries into pure magic.
There are a number of ways to experience the festival and plenty of fun for the whole family. You can purchase a regular ticket that will give you access to the farm, the beautiful scenery, and other activities happening throughout the festival.
There are also a limited number of Kids' Butterfly Release tickets, which are sure to sell out. You can purchase tickets online here. These tickets will give children a hands-on experience with the butterflies and show them their magic up close.
The fluttering butterflies are definitely the highlight of the festival, but there is much more to experience while you're visiting the farm.
No matter when you go, you can expect to enjoy play time in the Farmyard Fun Play Area, adorable farm animals, one mile of butterfly pollinator plants, and a market filled with fresh farm items and other foods and gifts. If you visit on one of the weekends, you can also grab a bite to eat from a food truck, learn from a presentation by the Cincinnati Zoo, enjoy live music, and more. One of the favorite features is sure to be the "Throw & Grow Shuttle" where you'll be given a ride to the growing pumpkin patch and be able to toss out flower seeds nearby. When you visit again in the fall, you'll be able to see the brightly colored flowers that you planted!

This is always a favorite Cincinnati destination in the fall where you can pick your own pumpkin, kids can ride the Cow Train, and everyone can get lost in the corn maze. The farm is equally as enchanting this time of year with blooming sunflowers and stunning fall colors.
