Burgers are one of those foods that people just can’t get enough of, and Cincinnati is home to some pretty amazing options. In fact, locals love burgers so much that each year July we celebrate with Cincinnati Burger Week, and it just happens to be kicking off today, July 16, 2018! One of the restaurants participating in this tasty week is a downtown spot that serves up one of the best burgers in town. BRU Burger Bar is one of many mouthwatering burger joints in the Queen City and whether it’s this week or another time, it simply must be tried.
BRU Burger Bar in downtown Cincinnati is definitely difficult to miss, as it is located in a popular building on a busy street corner near both Fountain Square and the Aronoff Center.
Its perfect location means it is a great spot to grab lunch or dinner when you're already downtown, or you can easily find a parking spot in a nearby lot or along the street.
The large restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and a casual atmosphere that's great for everything from a date night, to a business lunch, to a family night out.
You can choose from classic options or something a little different, and they also have Gluten-Free and Vegan choices, which you don't always find at a burger restaurant.
If you're a fan of onion rings, then you must try the beer-battered ones on the menu.
For a vegetarian option, the Grilled Portobello Sandwich is delicious, and keep in mind you can swap out the beef for a turkey burger, chicken breast, or veggie burger on any of the sandwiches.
BRU is one of many restaurants featured during Burger Week, and should definitely be at the top of your list. July 16-22, 2018, you can enjoy their BRU-Schetta burger for only $5. Other participating restaurants have similar deals.
But you don't have to only visit this mouthwatering burger bar this week, because once you've tried it, you'll likely want to go back again and again. Cincinnati serves up a lot of great burgers, and BRU is a welcome addition to this mouthwatering list.
