A few months ago, a unique idea came to life in the form of Cincy Book Bus. Owner Melanie Moore created this local bookstore on wheels and book lovers will happily follow Cincy Book Bus in Cincinnati for a charming experience that brings reading to the community.
Like many of the best places around Cincinnati, CIncy Book Bus began as a dream from a passion.
Melanie Moore took her love for reading and a desire to bring books into the community and created a unique bookstore on wheels. Cincy Book Bus is housed inside a 1962 VW truck, which is difficult to miss as it roams the streets of Cincinnati.
The truck is a beautiful shade of mint green and houses a wide variety of books.
Rather than your typical brick and mortar store that you have to make a special trip to visit, this book bus in Cincinnati brings the books directly to the people.

You'll find Cincy Book Bus at festivals, coffee shops, pop-up shops, and other gatherings around the city.
She's read many of the titles and can give you an honest review, if you like. Books are all new or like-new, and span a number of years. You'll find titles that were just released, as well as from decades prior.
As a former teacher, Melanie also has a passion for children's literature and getting it to children who need it the most.
