Where are some places to see spring flowers in Cincinnati?
When spring rolls around in Ohio, we like to get outdoors and celebrate the arrival of our favorite spring flowers. Here are a few places to see spring flowers in Cincinnati that we are sure you will enjoy:

  • Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden: Come to the Cincinnati Zoo in April for the annual tulip festival. More than 100,000 tulips peek their heads out of the ground and blossom with an explosion of color. Walk along the lovely paths in the zoo to see tulips everywhere! From the Reptile House to the Elephant House and everywhere in between. Daffodils and other flowers are also in bloom, so if you love spring flowers, a trip to the zoo is in order. You can even catch a free concert among the tulips on Thursday evenings.
  • Ault Park: This lovely 224-acre park at the end of Observatory Avenue has a spring treat for you that will take your breath away. Blooming cherry trees! Spring is so magical at Ault Park when the cherry trees fill the air with pink blossoms and the fresh scent of heaven. Plan to visit around late March to early April to catch the cherry trees at their finest. While you are here, take a little hike through the park or spend some time playing at the playground - it is the perfect way to spend time with your family on a wonderful spring day in Cincinnati.
  • Peaceful Acres Lavender Farm: Come late May, the air is filled with the soothing scent of lavender at this beautiful farm in Cincinnati. For an extra special day, head to the farm in mid-June for the Summer Solstice Lavender Festival. Pick your own bouquet of fresh flowers, check out the lavender-filled gift shop, or simply wander the fields enjoying a peaceful day surrounded by the sweet scent of these glorious purple flowers.
