After just one bite, it's hard not to fall in love with these sweet, crispy, yet tender Belgian-style waffles, so it's easy to see how the business quickly expanded. With full-service restaurants came a delicious menu and the most popular item served has to be the Chicken & Waffles (or Waffle & Chicken as it is appropriately listed on their menu).
Taste of Belgium's version of this classic dish includes a perfectly seasoned and spiced piece of fried chicken, which is perched atop one of their famous waffles.

The dish is served with hot sauce, maple syrup, and a small salad, which is also quite good, but obviously doesn't get much attention. The sweetness and texture of the waffle pairs perfectly with the chicken, making this dish an absolute must-try in the Queen City.

Taste of Belgium is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner with a large menu, so there are plenty of delicious reasons to visit again and again.
