It’s always a unique twist when a restaurant repurposes a historic space and maintains that character in the dining space. It makes for a great atmosphere in a restaurant and at the same time, preserves a piece of history. There are many restaurants in Cincinnati that have done just that, and one of them has been serving the community since 1995. Teller’s of Hyde Park was an old bank back in the day and now stands as a popular and beautiful restaurant and it’s time to pay it a visit.
Teller's has been a standout restaurant serving Hyde Park and Cincinnati since 1995.
Located in the historic Hyde Park Savings and Loan building, the restaurant was remodeled in 2009 and continues to be a favorite dining experience in the city. The ambiance is relaxed and special and the superb service matches the quality of the food.
The interior decor of Teller's is one of the things that makes it standout from other eateries in the city.
While you're there, look around for signs of the building's old purpose. If you'd like to enjoy a really unique dining experience, you can even book a gathering in what was once the bank's vault. It now seats up to 25 guests and is a one-of-a-kind option for an intimate dining setting in Cincinnati.
Teller's serves a delicious lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch— there is something to love about each meal of the day.
For lunch, you'll find creative sandwiches like the Santa Fe Chicken served with Spiced Rosemary Potatoes. Pizzas are also a favorite for both lunch and dinner.
Brunch is equally as delicious, especially with offerings like these Boston Cream Pie Pancakes (shown above). Also try the Bloody Mary; it's one of the best in the city!
Teller's is an ideal restaurant for a special celebration meal or just a relaxing evening out for dinner and drinks.
On a nice day, order a cocktail and enjoy their outdoor dining area, which is also one of the most unique in the city and quite unexpected, given its former life as a bank.
Teller's is one of the most well known destinations within Hyde Park Square, as it has been serving up a one-of-a-kind dining experience for over 20 years.
If you have yet to try this classic Cincinnati restaurant, make plans to visit soon! Teller's is open (for food service, longer hours for the bar only) Monday - Thursday from 11am to 10pm, Friday & Saturday from 11am to 11pm, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm.
Teller’s has been a mainstay in the Cincinnati dining community because of its combination of delicious food, lovely atmosphere and a touch of history. Have you dined inside this old Cincinnati bank? What other historic buildings turned restaurants do you love? Let us know in the comments!
