Summer is a special time in Cincinnati with so many fun and unique things to do. I’ve lived in the Cincinnati area my entire life, yet I can still find new experiences, especially in the summer! One experience every Cincinnatian should have at least once is time spent on the Ohio River and what better way to embrace summer than a tiki boat ride in Cincinnati?! This summertime excursion is ideal for locals, as well as anyone planning a few days in the Queen City. Grab up to 15 of your friends and book a memorable ride on the Cincinnati Tiki Boat.
Summer in Cincinnati is now more tropical and festive than ever. Located at Rivertowne Marina on Kellogg Avenue, the Cincinnati Tiki Boat is the unique party you didn't know you needed this summer.
This new area attraction can host up to 16 people (must be 18+ years of age) for a two-hour ride along the Ohio River. It's ideal for any kind of celebration, a unique corporate outing, and just an excuse to celebrate this "fun in the sun" season.
We went out on the river on a weekday afternoon for a more relaxed experience and it was beautiful. We brought along our own cooler with drinks, snacks, and ice, and the boat had everything else we needed for a super comfortable ride.
Your two-hour ride takes you along the Ohio River with a stop halfway through to use the restroom and hop off the boat for a few minutes. You can choose to sit out in the sun or in the shade of the tiki-style roof.
You can connect your own playlist to the boat's bluetooth, so have your favorite songs ready to go. The bar even has ports so you can charge your phone if you need to!
The captains of the boat will help make your trip a memorable (and safe) one. Be sure to either bring along cash for a tip if you see fit, or you can easily Venmo them.
As you can imagine, popular weekend times for the Tiki Boat fill up fast, so make your summer plans soon. If weather allows, they plan on running the private tiki boat tour into mid-October. And if the tiki boat is booked for the time you're interested in, check out the Cincinnati Cycleboat, offered by the same company!
Your ride begins and ends at Rivertowne Marina where you'll find easy, free parking, restrooms, and a place where you can pick up any snacks, drinks, or ice you may have forgotten.
A tiki boat ride in Cincinnati is the most festive way to embrace summer. Even if you can’t make it somewhere tropical this season, grab a group of friends, pack a cooler, and plan time on the Ohio with the Cincinnati Tiki Boat.
