Relics from the past retell stories and incite long forgotten memories. Here in Ohio, we have an impressive collection of museums scattered throughout our state. From quirky collections to living history displays, there’s a little something for every kind of history buff. Snook’s Dream Cars in Bowling Green, Ohio features an impressive collection of beautifully restored cars from the 1930s – 1960s. Exploring this one-of-a-kind museum is a car lover’s dream come true.
Welcome to Snook's Dream Cars, home to an extensive collection of historic cars housed in a recreated 1940s era Texaco gas station.
Note: You can also visit the museum on Saturday and Sunday by appointment. To confirm hours of operation before you plan a visit, you can call (419) 353-8338.
Admission to Snook's Dream Cars is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children. (Note: Snook's Dream Cars is a cash-only attraction.)
What's really unique about this living history museum is that some of the cars are even drivable, such as this 1931 Model A Woodie with a rebuilt engine.
The museum is a family-owned and operated business that started with Bill Snook. Today, his son Jeff Snook runs the museum, four-bay shop used for maintaining collector cars and warehouse for collector car storage.
If you aren't able to make the trip, you can even take a Virtual Tour of the museum—but it really is a spectacular sight to see in person.
