From our charming, countryside covered bridges to our extravagantly colored (and oddly shaped) bridges in the city, Ohio features some pretty memorable bridges—for both pedestrian and driver. The following are what we consider to be the most unique bridges in the state.

1) The Y-Bridge (Zanesville)

The bridge over the Muskingum and Dillon Rivers in Zanesville is world famous. Why? Because it is the only bridge in the world that you can cross and still be on the same side of the river.
2) John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge (Cincinnati)

3) Newport Southbank Bridge (Cincinnati)

Also known as the "Purple People Bridge," this bridge connects Cincinnati to Newport, Kentucky.
