A new food hall recently opened up in Northern California and it’s already making headlines. Located in Sacramento, The Bank is a trendy new spot that is bound to delight anybody who considers themselves a foodie. In fact, this brand new destination is up for “Best New Food Hall” in the entire country by USA Today, so be sure to give it a vote! One of the most unique food halls in the country opened its doors for the first time less than a month ago. The Bank is a much-anticipated foodie's paradise located in Sacramento that you'll definitely want to visit.
First off, The Bank really couldn't be located in a more memorable location. You'll find it inside the 106-year-old D.O. Mills Building, an iconic structure at 7th and J streets.
A historic structure like this provides the perfect atmosphere for such a unique dining destination. Inside you'll find several different vendors underneath the tall, gilded ceilings.
There's a little something for everyone here, from fried chicken from Mama Kim Eats to delicious Swedish pastries from Boy's Bakery. It doesn't matter what type of mood you're in, you're bound to walk away satisfied.
Other unique eats include Station 8 where you can grab a bao burger or lobster roll and Preservation Market & Kitchen which we hear has a pretty mean Bloody Mary.
On top of the plethora of food options, the food hall also features a massive taproom, complete with 68 self-pour draft handles. Walk into the former bank vault and find something just as good as piles of money: endless craft beer!
All in all, there are currently more than a dozen local food and drink purveyors within The Bank, all of which has something unique to offer. If that doesn't sound enticing, we don't know what does!
