Aaaaah, peaches! Those fuzzy, delicate, and oh-so juicy fruits that are a great part of any summer experience. At the annual Marysville Peach Festival in Northern California, you can enjoy them in more delicious ways than you can possibly imagine!
Held every year over the third weekend of June, this year’s annual Marysville Peach Festival will take place June 15-16.
In the past the festival, which takes place in Historic Downtown Marysville, about a 40-minute drive north of Sacramento, festivalgoers have numbered close to 30,000 over the two-day event.
It all starts with healthy peach trees planted by local growers which absolutely thrive in the hot climate so typical of the Sacramento valley area.
Grown until they reach peak perfection, they are then harvested and shipped all around the state and further afield.

Expect to find a wide variety, to say the least, of amazing culinary creations where peaches take center stage, like this tantalizing BBQ Peach Burger!
Peach glazed chicken wings, pulled chicken peach sliders, peach jellies and jams...there’s so much you can make with this delicious, mouth-watering fruit.
Among the favorite annual events is the peach pie eating contest. Go ahead, dig your face right in! There is also a children's carnival area with rides, slides, and other activities for the little ones.
Be sure to include the annual Marysville Peach Festival in your summer itinerary. The organizers here want that, “your peachiest dreams are about to come true!”
