This large and fancy inn is an unexpected surprise as you drive north on 101 through tiny towns in redwood country. Benbow Historic Inn was opened in 1926. At that time it was called Hotel Benbow. The beautiful inn sits on the banks of the Eel River and is a short drive from Avenue of the Giants.
Right in the middle of historic Ferndale in Northern California sits one of California’s most photographed homes.
