You will feel like you are walking the earth millions of years ago when you attend this dinosaur experience. You will walk through 165 million years of the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods to learn all about these remarkable creations that once called our planet home.
Jurassic Quest features a large herd of animatronic dinosaurs that are each placed in realistic scenes to make you feel like you truly stepped back in time. From small baby dinos to favorites like the T-Rex, every detail is perfect and some will even move and roar at you.
While the animatronic dinosaurs are certainly going to leave a lasting impression, this is just the beginning of the activities and events offered at Jurassic Quest. This weekend event at the Cal Expo Center in Sacramento includes live dinosaur shows, a fossil dig, a triceratops horn, and more.
Young kids can get out their energy on the bounce houses and inflatable attractions as well as at the “Triceratots” — a soft play area for young dinosaur lovers.
The young and young at heart can even participate in “The Quest,” a self-guided scavenger hunt.
Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged to ensure you can attend on your desired date. All general admission tickets include dinosaur exhibits, arts and crafts, and dinosaur shows. A Kids Unlimited Ticket is available for children ages 2-10 to access the rides. Children under the age of two are free.
