Located in an area that's known as "California's geographic crossroads," Susanville Ranch Park is where four unique geographical regions come together. Boasting the Diamond Mountains to the south and the Great Basin to the east, it makes for one heck of a view.
Forest, meadow, and high desert environments all come together at this unique park, and you'll want to explore it all. The park's trail system of 75-miles of trails makes it easy to explore the brilliant canyons, hills, and meadows that the area has to offer.
The trails are open to hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and dog walking. You'll even see visitors cross-country skiing or snowshoeing here in the winter. The most challenging trails can be found in the northern portion of the park, whereas the casual trails can be found in the southern portion.
