Constructed in 1918, today's patrons can peruse the store while walking on its original wooden floors. The Graeagle Store supplied the town's bulk commodities from its beginning all the way through the 1950s. As the timber industry dwindled, Graeagle basically turned into a ghost town...but that wasn't the end for this long-standing store.

Steve Harding Sr. purchased the lease for the store in 1970 at a time when there were just 200 residents in Graeagle. The business was slow at first, but it quickly picked up as the community continued to attract residents through the '80s and '90s.

It's been 103 years and the Graeagle Store is still going strong! Today, the beloved store offers a full-service fresh meat counter, produce and dairy, and a wide selection of dry goods. Visitors and locals alike benefit from this community staple.
