Whether you’re with a group of friends, or a family with little ones, apple picking is something everyone will enjoy. Several orchards will let you pick apples. It’s best to get a map of Apple Hill at the first place you visit when you arrive in the area. In order to experience all Camino has to offer, you’ll want to stay the night. Weekdays are a great time to visit to avoid crowds. If you visit on the weekend, be prepared to wait for parking and wait in lines– we’ve done it before, and it’s still so worth it!

Today, Apple Hill attracts droves of visitors each year, with the majority visiting in the fall months. If you want to do what the long-time Apple Hill guests do, eat your way through all the orchards. Then leave with a pie or two, a bag of apples, apple butter, and something hand crafted.

Some of the most popular, long-standing apple treats you can expect to see and taste include: apple fritters, apple donuts, apple cider, apple butter, apple pie, and even apple ice cream. Several places serve meals, too. Bring a cooler if you want to buy frozen goods, such as pies and other treats.
Bring your camera when visiting Apple Hill since there are plenty of picturesque views of orchards tinged all shades of orange during the fall.
