You'll find both tent camping and RV sites available here. Although you'll be camping on sand, the campsites are quite comfortable with bathrooms, hot showers, potable water, and even a little dish-washing station at each site. You might find yourself getting a little too comfortable among the beautiful scenery.
Now this is what camping on the beach should be all about! If you're the type of person that likes to set up a hammock and relax while taking in the natural beauty, you'll find that this is the perfect place. However, there are all sorts of adventures waiting to be had if you're the type that likes to venture around.
First off, you'll want to make your way to the extraordinary day-use area which includes an ADA accessible boardwalk that overlooks the beach. It makes for the perfect spot to search for whales in the distance or simply view the sunset over the waves.
You could spend hours combing the beach, flying kites, or enjoying a picnic while watching the ocean tides. Although dogs are allowed in the campground, they are unfortunately not allowed on the beach. Fires are also restricted on the beach in order to protect the endangered Western Snowy Plover, which you might be lucky enough to see in their natural habitat.
