Mainzer has to be one of the best brunch restaurants in Northern California. Mainzer also uses the theater to show major sports games.
As if that wasn’t enough, there is also a game room with arcade-type games like foosball and skeeball.

This charming restaurant has a short but sweet brunch menu. Everything on the menu is excellent– you really can’t go wrong here.
There’s the classic avocado toast with eggs, or decadent biscuits and gravy, or classic French toast. You can’t go wrong with the “country plate”-- 3 eggs any way, home fries, and bacon or sausage.

This Sacramento hot spot serves California farm-to-table cuisine. They serve brunch classics with local and seasonal ingredients.
Try the sausage sandwich “wet” with gravy. Fast food doesn’t have anything on this farm-fresh food. If you’re more of a sweet tooth, try the peaches and cream french toast made with Challah bread, custard, peaches, and caramel peach sauce.

10. Hot Off The Griddle– Orangevale
Hot Off The Griddle serves freshly prepared breakfast and brunch classics. They don’t have an individual brunch menu, but you can order from the breakfast or lunch menu all day.
Guests love their eggs Benedicts and the corned beef hash, made with their homemade corned beef. The portions are generous, so no one in your group will go hungry. For smaller appetites, order from their “lil breakfast” section of the menu. They have a kids menu, too.

This South Lake Tahoe cafe serves all your brunch favorites and more.
The Getaway Cafe has three types of eggs Benedicts, including a Deluxe for large appetites. If you’ve been out late the night before at the casinos, try the Hangover Helper– chorizo and home fries sauteed with tomatoes, onions, and peppers, then topped with cheddar cheese and eggs.
