Known among locals as Blues Beach, this hidden gem of a destination is officially known as Chadbourne Gulch Beach and it can be found in Mendocino County just south of Westport.
This isolated beach is perfect for getting away from the more crowded beach spots and immersing yourself in the outstanding natural beauty of the Mendocino coast. Additionally, vehicles are allowed and that means you can drive right up to the water!

Although driving on the beach is allowed, you'll want to be cautious doing so. The beach is definitely soft in some areas, so only attempt this if you know your vehicle can handle it.
