Known among locals as Blues Beach, this hidden gem of a destination is officially known as Chadbourne Gulch Beach and it can be found in Mendocino County just south of Westport.

Although driving on the beach is allowed, you'll want to be cautious doing so. The beach is definitely soft in some areas, so only attempt this if you know your vehicle can handle it.
