AutoCamp is reimagining the way you spend time outdoors. Started in 2013, this company has created campgrounds in several California destinations. The one we'll be featuring here is located along the Russian River, although they boast two other locations in Yosemite and Santa Barbara.
Located in the heart of Sonoma's wine country, the Russian River location is a gorgeous retreat. The campground is surrounded by towering redwood trees and the river is just a short walk away.
Upon arrival, you'll immediately realize this place is far from your typical campground. Instead of tents, AutoCamp features modern and luxurious Airstream accommodations. The Airstream trailer was first introduced in 1929, but it's proven to be a long-lasting icon of adventure to Americans.
The Airstream suites are fully decked out. Each trailer contains a queen-sized bed, kitchen with basic cooking supplies, a spa-inspired bathroom, sofa, and a plethora of luxuries including robes, bath towels, and even a flat-screen television.
In short, these trailers offer a unique camping experience unlike any other. To top it all off, each Airstream also boasts a fire pit outside with a grill and outdoor seating. If only we could move in permanently!
