Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Few things are quite as satisfying as procuring one’s own food, and one of the best ways to do that is to visit a local farm that allows you to pick all the fruits and veggies your heart could ever hope for. You-pick farms in North Dakota are most certainly a thing and a wonderful thing at that! So, where do you go when you get that hankering to go gather up your next salad yourself? Easy – head to Minot, where you’ll find Angelic Gardens. This mom-and-pop little farm is truly a little slice of paradise – trust us when we say the name is quite fitting.
Year in and year out, Minot's very own Angelic Gardens is a shining beacon in an otherwise mostly-quiet town.
If you happen to be looking for the freshest produce imaginable combined with a friendly atmosphere and excellent prices, you'll certainly want to give Angelic Gardens a look.
What the farmers here have managed to do is remarkable; this farm produces almost every veggie you can imagine, as well as a vast array of delectable and fresh fruits.

Crop depends on the time of year, of course, but you will reliably find the very best of those crops here every season.
Angelic Gardens produces the sweetest corn, the juiciest strawberries, the lushest raspberries, and the most luscious sunflowers you'll ever find. You can also find veggies like asparagus, zucchini, and other types of squash as well.
You can find interesting things like gourds and colorful autumn arrangements, and plenty of delightful baked goods made fresh with - of course - fruits and veggies straight from the farm. During the right seasons, you'll find apple and pear trees, too.
At the time of this writing, Angelic Gardens is open two days a week.
Those days are Mondays and Thursdays, but make sure to check the official Facebook page for the most up-to-date hours, specials, and, of course, plenty of pictures to tempt you to visit.
Every inch of this place is taken care of with love, and a deep appreciation for naturally-grown, organic foods.
Sometimes, the best food is the food that comes straight out of the earth with no frills, and thankfully there's no shortage of that at Angelic Gardens.
Even if you-pick farms in North Dakota aren't really your thing, you're sure to find something to love here anyway.
