Take A Journey To This Lewis And Clark Themed Winter Festival In North Dakota

Did you know that the famous exploring duo Lewis and Clark spent more time in North Dakota than anywhere else during their expeditions across what is now the United States? They spent a whole winter here and even spotted their first grizzly bears in this state. One of North Dakota’s state parks is hosting its annual Winterfest for 2019 and this year it happens to be themed after those explorers! You can learn about them, hike across the snowy landscapes as they would have, and enjoy a whole day of activities.

The Cross Ranch State Park Winterfest will be held at the park, located at 1403 River Road, Center, ND 58530. Activities begin at 1:00 PM and continue to 8:00 PM. It is open for all ages. For more information on this event, click here.
