Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
North Dakota’s largest city has many historic buildings all throughout its downtown. A lot of them have found new uses and new businesses have taken up residence in them. None, however, are quite as unique and special as this one. One of the last buildings of its kind in downtown Fargo has become the first of its kind in the entire state – and you’ll want to visit.
Located in the heart of downtown Fargo, this old historic stable is over 100 years old.
This place is one of the hippest and trendiest new establishments in Fargo. The warm atmosphere inside will draw you in and the delicious cider will make you want to stay.
While the building has been renovated, it still holds its old charm. The high vaulted ceilings of the stable will make you feel like you're back in time - but without the horses!
Building aside, Wild Terra brews their own cider and kombucha. They have quite the selection of dry, semi-sweet, and sweet ciders along with local beers, mead, and wine.
Not only does Wild Terra serve delicious glasses of cider, they also have an awesome food menu. Though they were more limited in their food before, they recently expanded their menu and are now serving food every day of the week. Their menu includes tacos, quesadillas, sandwiches, salads, and yummy appetizers.
Whether you come for the historic location, the home brewed ciders, or the tasty food, Wild Terra will certainly make an impression as one of the coolest and most unique spots in North Dakota.
Wild Terra is located at 6 12th Street N., Fargo, ND 58102. For more information on their ciders, menu, story, and more, click here.
While this old stable in Fargo has awesome cider, there is an awesome old barn in Devils Lake that has been transformed into a steakhouse you’ll want to check out, too. Take a look right here!
