Have you ever eaten something so delicious, so outrageously amazing, that it seems like it’s too good to be true? Those are the times you find your new favorite place to eat, but they can be rare. These restaurants in North Dakota not only have food so good it should be illegal, they also look like places you would have never guessed to have that. Unsuspecting on the outside, but so so tasty on the inside – you must try these restaurants:
North Dakota may be a little far from the bayou, but the quaint little Cajun Cafe in Fargo is serving up food that'll make you feel like you're there. Their amazing cajun dishes include everything from gumbo, to catfish, to fried gator. What they are most known for is their omelets and you'd be a fool for going here but not trying one. Like all of their food, they are absolutely delicious.

Now there's a creation you'll wish you'd had all your life: cinnamon roll pancakes. Darcy's Cafe serves up these and so much more that they've become one of the most loved breakfast places in North Dakota. No matter what time of day you go, you'll definitely not leave hungry after you enjoy their huge, tasty breakfasts.

Taking after the nickname of the city it's from, Magic City Hoagies looks like a pretty typical, run of the mill sub and sandwich place from the outside. Despite its average appearance, the hoagies at this spot are anything but. The restaurant has consistently ranked as the top sandwich spot in the entire state, serving up massive hoagies, loaded subs, and even things like poutine.
Magic City Hoagies is located at 1515 24th Ave. SW, Minot, ND 58701.
The name of this bakehouse might throw you off a little bit, but the name comes from cowboy slang for donuts and has stuck ever since. Bearscat has by far some of the best donuts you'll ever try. You won't be able to go back to gas station or grocery store donuts ever again - they are just that good. They always have quite the variety of donuts available, but get there early as they sell out quick!
Bearscat is located at 1914 N 12th St., Bismarck, ND 58501.
It's rare to find a video store these days, let alone a restaurant inside one. This restaurant in Wahpeton defies the odds, being located in a quiet little video store. Despite this unusual set up, their food is out-of-this-world good. You'll love their sandwiches on fresh baked bread or you can try some of the many other non-sandwich items on their extensive menu. All of it is delicious, and you can even buy a movie afterwards.
Wahpeton Deli & Eatery is located at 614 Dakota Ave., Wahpeton, ND 58075.
