There are three connected loop trails in North Dakota's Lake Metigoshe State Park that all create a beautiful, unforgettable experience.
The loop trails are called the Eagle, Scout, and Tenderfoot Loops and every one of them is connected. They are located at the very edge of the park at the end of the main park road. All together, they have a length of about 2.4 miles.
The trails can be done in a way that they form one big loop as they take you through the dense forests that fill this area.
In full view, this lake is jaw-dropping. You'll almost feel like you've been transported to some other world with the tree-covered hills and vibrant waters.
