2. Worn or owned something camo.

It tends to be the pattern of choice for everything from clothes to couches in North Dakota, avid hunters or not.
3. Seen the Medora Musical.

Medora is just one of those places that everyone goes to at least once in their life in North Dakota. Whether you did it when you were just a kid or took your own kids there, you've probably experienced it before.
4. Been to Red River Valley Fair.

5. Heard a Kroll's commercial on TV during the local news hour.

6. Cheered for the Bison or the Fighting Hawks even if you live on the opposite side of the state.

Whether you're rooting for the Fighting Hawks during times they've made it to the Frozen Four or are cheering on the Bison to win another championship, it doesn't matter if you're clear across the state, you've shown your support at least once.
7. Had to jump or help jump a car in the winter when it wouldn't start because of the cold.

Frigid below zero temperatures don't do car batteries any favors, and most North Dakotans have had to deal with this at least once. Don't forget the times you might have had to plug your car in overnight just to make sure it would start in the morning.
8. Been fishing or hunting.

Doesn't matter if it's deer or pheasant, on a boat in the summer or from an ice fishing house in the winter, you've taken advantage of North Dakota's fantastic outdoor opportunities at least once.
9. Had an out-of-stater ask if you live near Mount Rushmore or other such silly questions.
