North Dakota is home to the beautiful International Peace Garden on the US/Canadian border, which no other state can claim. That's why we are called the Peace Garden state.

As one of the most famous presidents in history, we have the privilege of him having a great taste in locations- he loved North Dakota, kept a ranch here, and has a national park named after him here.

As mentioned, North Dakota has a pretty high impact on the entire country's crops, but one of the most important and highest yielding crops is durum wheat, which is used for a majority of the country's wheat-based products, whether they be pasta noodles or bread- we're to thank for providing that!

We love our wildlife and are very good about keeping healthy populations of our native species through education, responsible hunting, and wildlife refuges located all over the state. We have more than any other state in the country. Wow!!
