Oakes, North Dakota is a picture-perfect small town with a population of 1,721. It's located in Dickey County and every year they host their annual Irrigation Days. This year they'll be held from June 6th to June 9th, 2019.
The Irrigation Days starts on Thursday, June 6, 2019, with free food from breakfast to lunch and community picnic. By the evening, the Karaoke Kickoff begins in the park.
Saturday of the Irrigation Days is perfect for shopping around town. Vendors will be set up, rummage sales can be found all throughout the community, and there will be an arts and crafts fair. The day will end with another street dance and rodeo.
There will be plenty of fun for the kids at this event, too — from face painting to balloon artists, inflatables and rides, and story time character meets at a local bookstore. The entire event is great for the whole family!
