Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
You’re never too young or too old for a stroll outdoors. It does the body good to talk a walk along some nature, even in the most dense of urban areas. North Dakotans aren’t usually very far from some fresh air and natural settings, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage of some lovely trails in the city. This riverside trail might be just what the doctor ordered and now that it’s truly getting into spring weather, you’ll want to visit as soon as possible.
To take the trail, head to 6th St. SE in Minot, North Dakota.
Minot has so much more to offer if you’re planning on traveling to the city to visit. Did you know it is home to an incredible stave church? You can visit it for free at the Scandinavian Heritage Center right in the Magic City. Check it out!
