And, lucky us, we have a bunch of top-notch, absolutely legendary steakhouses we’re proud to claim as ours. Let’s take a look at one such establishment, where the cocktails are delicious and the steaks are aged and prepared to absolute perfection.
Nestled in beautiful Bismarck, North Dakota, is 40 Steak + Seafood, an upper-echelon establishment serving up delectable steaks, chops, and cuts of seafood that are positively to die for.
On Wednesdays, 40 Steak + Seafood offers something a little different, though there's really nothing "little" about it: a 40-ounce (that's two and a half pounds) Porterhouse steak for just $40.00.
If you know your steak, you know what an amazing steal of a deal that is; unfortunately, so does everyone else, so you'll want to show up early - they sell out of these juicy, perfectly-aged morsels of meat relatively quickly.
The Porterhouse isn't the only treasure served at 40 Steak + Seafood that's sure to sell out; it's not uncommon to ask for a New York strip or Junior Cowboy ribeye only to be sadly informed that they've sold out for the night.
Steak lovers and carnivores will always find something to enjoy here, though, so despite the restaurant's tendency to sell out, it's well worth a visit. Honestly, we see the frequent sellouts as a major sign that something amazing is happening in the kitchen here day in and day out.
At the time of this writing, 40 Steak + Seafood is open Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
