The trail you'll be taking is at Harmon Lake near Mandan, North Dakota, a beautiful recreation area.
The trail goes around the lake, over the rolling hills, through patches of trees, over bridges, and allows you to experience this stunning part of the prairie. It can be hiked or biked.
The trail is 8.85-miles long and is considered moderate in difficulty. The experience is worth every step walked as you immerse yourself in nature here.
Throughout the journey, you'll be treated with some absolutely spectacular views of Harmon Lake and of the surrounding area. It is definitely a place that needs to be seen in person so you can fully appreciate how lovely it is!
Harmon Lake is located off of Highway 1806 and County Road 140 near Mandan, North Dakota. As mentioned, the trail is nearly nine miles long and is considered moderate in difficulty. It is also dog-friendly!
