“Don’t judge a book by its cover” is one of the most used terms when people describe this restaurant in North Dakota. You may not even realize it’s a restaurant if you only glanced at it in passing, you’d probably think it was someone’s garden shed instead! But don’t let the exterior fool you, this itty bitty food joint has a lot to offer on the inside and is by far the best restaurant of its kind in the entire state. Give it a chance and check it out:

The first thing that might catch your eye as you reach this restaurant is actually the large, unusual cowboy statue out front. Your eyes will probably completely glaze over the actual establishment.

The restaurant looks more like a little shack than a restaurant, and only big enough to fit a small number of people, but don't be deceived! Harry the Greek in New Town, North Dakota is the best Greek restaurant in the entire state.

From the hand painted sign outside to the hand written signs inside, Harry the Greek is anything but your usual food destination. But it gives off that hole-in-the-wall, hidden gem kind of essence that it stays very true to.
