Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
North Dakota is a well-loved place for hunting, so much so that people travel from far away just to hunt here. It wouldn’t be that way without the hard work of the state’s game wardens. There is no other facility in the world than one in particular right here in ND that honors those game wardens as well as teaches the public about what they do, how, and more. This facility is called the Game Warden Museum, and everyone should check it out.
You can visit the Game Warden Museum at 10939 Peace Garden Road, Dunseith, ND 58329. For more information, click here.
