Ice cream and fudge: a super sweet combination that’s hard to resist! You can get exactly that at this fun wild west depot in North Dakota. Beat the summer heat while visiting this tourist town by grabbing a cone of delicious, cold ice cream and grab some homemade fudge on your way out to sweeten the deal. Here’s what you need to know:
When you visit Medora, North Dakota, be sure to stop by a little shop on this street for a delicious treat.
The Medora Fudge and Ice Cream Depot is a fun, wild west themed sweets shop that will hit the spot on a hot, summer day. It's open seasonally from June 1st to September 8th.
From the wood siding on the exterior to the historic photos inside, it follows Medora's fun theme of the wild badlands, while still keeping modern comforts.
They have fantastic ice cream in all sorts of flavors. Classics like vanilla and chocolate are always available and other, more unique flavors like Butter Brickle might be there for you to try. Yum!
Don't forget about the fudge! This place makes tons of pans of fudge in all kinds of varieties. Even people who claim to have the sweetest of sweet teeth might not be able to handle how creamy and tasty it is. Whether you get a classic fudge or one full of marshmallows, candies, peanut butter, or some of the many other flavors, you'll be in fudge heaven.
While the weather is nice, don't forget to sit out on their beautiful patio — one of the nicest in Medora — and soak up some summer sun while indulging in a cool ice cream treat.
