To the uninformed, North Dakota might seem like an unlikely place to find the freshest and most delicious seafood. While Roughrider Country is not exactly known as Oyster Country, one wonderful Fargo dining spot is upping the state’s seafood reputation, one mollusk at a time. Make plans to head to Beer & Fish Company, and get ready for a meal you won’t forget.
The first thing you need to know about Beer & Fish Company, is that this is no run-down beachfront fish shack. This is a hip urban eatery, tucked into Robert’s Alley, in the heart of Fargo.
The dining experience is all about casual, delicious food. It’s the perfect place to go with some friends to enjoy fish and chips, fine seafood dishes, and an oyster bar.
The menu has a lot of tasty options for appetizers. If you love great seafood and go all in for the tower: it includes a dozen oysters, a dozen shrimp, three lobster tails, and a pound and a half of king crab.
The menu also includes perfectly prepared fish n’ chips and there are a lot of tasty seafood options – choose from cod, halibut, shrimp, and walleye fingers, and more. There are a lot of combo options so you can enjoy a perfect meal that’s just for you.
A well-stocked bar has just what you need to wash this meal down. The bar has a nice selection of rum, bourbon, rye, tequila and whiskey and of course, there’s a well-curated beer list.
Beer & Fish Company is open daily. See the current hours and menu on the restaurant’s website. Fargo’s dining scene has been getting better and better in recent years – here’s another great place you’ll probably crave.
