There is no other bridge like it in the state and it is open as a walking trail with incredible views. The Fairview Bridge is also notable for having the Cartwright tunnel at its other end. The tunnel is the only completed railroad tunnel in all of North Dakota and, although never used, people enjoy walking through its dark passage to the other side today.
