This Epic Mountain In North Dakota Will Drop Your Jaw
North Dakota isn’t well known for having vast mountain ranges or towering peaks by any means. For the most part, the state is covered in wide prairies. That’s not to say there aren’t any hills or mountains at all; in fact there are quite a few. This is one in North Dakota that not only looks pretty awesome, but also has some interesting history.


The battle took place on July 28, 1864. It was a group of troops commanded by General Sully against a group of Sioux. This site commemorates that battle.
