The Dakota Nights Astronomy Festival is an annual event in Medora, ND and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park bringing together people of all ages and people from the average stargazer to actual astronomers. It will be taking place from August 30th to September 1st, 2019.
Despite being an astronomy event focused on the stars, it isn't just happening at night. During the day you can take part in activities like a solar system hike, watch films in the Discovery Dome, and more.
