Luckily for North Dakotans, there is still one left – and it’s one of the last remaining, still-operating machines of its kind in the world. Located inside the store among the aisles is an old fashioned soda fountain, known simply as The Fountain. It's here that one of the last, still-operating Whirl-a-whip machines in the world still creates delicious ice cream treats.
