Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
North Dakota is gearing up for the spooky, Halloween season and that means that haunted houses will be opening up across the prairie again soon. As the decorations start to come out and the creepy factor goes up, you might want to give a new scary spot a try this year if you’ve already seen the others. This haunted house is an underrated spooky gem that might be the new thrill you’re looking for.
The Crypt at Jacobs Manor will only be open from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on the last two Fridays and Saturdays of October. If you’re planning on checking out Acres of Terror, definitely give this place a look, too. Make sure to bring a non-perishable food item to donate for your admission. Learn more at their website.
