Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
The term “theme park” probably makes you think of rides and carnival games, but there are other types of theme parks that are great for everyone in the family. One such place is an antique theme park in North Dakota that is an entire park full of antiques, history, and fun things to see. They’ll make you long for the good old days with everything you’ll experience there. Plus, it’s just a cool place to visit this summer! Check it out:
Bonanzaville is the funnest antique theme park in North Dakota, with the theme being the state's early days and too many antiques to count!
The park is made up of 43 different antique buildings, many brought in from small towns in North Dakota, to form a little town that is almost like stepping into the past.
Most are set up to replicate how those antiques would have been used or placed back in the day, but some are also kept in museum-like buildings on the grounds.
Other things include a barber shop and a drug store, and the museum buildings have things like old wagons, train cars, automobiles, and even airplanes.
They even have a courtroom! Bonanzaville is an awesome pioneer-themed place to visit with just about every antique under the sun, all creating a fun atmosphere for the whole family to visit.
