Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
Let’s be honest: alpacas are too cute to not love. These soft, fuzzy, lovable creatures are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. Plus, their fleece makes the best mittens, stuffed animals, and more. North Dakota has a lot of farms, but it’s rare to come across an alpaca on the prairie. Happy Rock Farm has exactly that, and you can check out the farm for yourself during the National Alpaca Farm Days. Let’s go take a look at this wonderful alpaca farm in North Dakota!
The event runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27, 2020. Visit the Happy Rock Farm website for more information and keep up to date (or look at more cute alpaca photos) on their Facebook page. Again, please make sure you sign up for the event on Eventbrite even though it’s free.
