There’s a little town out in Richland County, North Dakota that is something special. You may have never heard of it, but it deserves some attention for its great community, beautiful sights, and fascinating history. It is the picture perfect example of a great ND small town – and you’ll fall in love with it. Here’s why:
This little town is called Abercrombie, North Dakota, and last year it was fittingly titled the state's Town of the Year by KVRR. It is located right alongside the scenic Red River of the North.
The town has a population of just 263 residents and a community that loves it. There has never been many more or less people living here throughout the past century. It is right in that sweet spot of a tiny town with a lot of heart. It was founded in 1884.
Abercrombie is the picture perfect NoDak small town, with local shops and businesses lining the main streets. It is a place where everybody knows everyone.
With such a rich history, gorgeous natural setting, neat attraction, and lots of homegrown love to share, Abercrombie is a place anyone can adore and get behind.
