It may not be Thursday, be we’re throwing back to the early 1900s with this series of vintage photos taken in North Carolina during that era. While you may be surprised at some of these, we’re sure your parents, or grandparents, would definitely relate and enjoy a walk down memory lane.Take a look:
1. Wrightsville Beach, c.1925. We love how it looks like one big ice cream social at the beach that day.
5. Edith Vanderbilt, widow of George Vanderbilt, was president of the 1921 state fair. She's shown here riding around the fairgrounds on a firetruck. (She's seated up front, next to the driver.)
6. Two lovely ladies out for a buggy ride in 1912. Pictured are Cornelia Adelaide Everhart and Adelaide Everhart. The North Carolina location is unknown.
