Located in the SALT Block, this exceptional science center opened its second home in 1986. It features a planetarium, an aquarium, and a series of revolving exhibits. The memorial, located at the west end of Union Square, was installed by American Legion Post 148 on May 30, 1927. Originally the weapon was placed to honor those from the community who served in World War I. Later, it was rededicated to honor all veterans from the area.
