Take a stroll through history in North Carolina at Horne Creek Living Historical Farm in Pinnacle. This incredible space showcasing the state’s rural past was once owned by the Hauser Family. As much of it has remained intact, strolling through Horne Creek gives an authentic peek into how farm life was in the 1900s. In addition to the family’s original farmhouse, the site features, a corncrib, a tobacco curing barn, a working farm, and a heritage apple orchard. Throughout the year special programs take place at the site, from ice cream socials to the upcoming, annual Cornshucking Frolic on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Let’s take a look at this interesting historic site in North Carolina.
