The Sylvan Heights Bird Park is located in the tiny town of Scotland Neck, population about 2,000.
The park, with the guidance of the NC Zoological Society, opened in 2006, and offers a variety of outdoor activities as well as a whole park full of birds to admire.
Sylvan Heights is home to more than 2,500 birds from around the world. From the Avian Breeding Center to the Wetland Safari Trail, and all the countries and continents represented by the birds in the park, this outdoor adventure is sure to please.
