North Carolina is home to a few places where you can go snow tubing. But the spot with the steepest hill will make that tubing adventure the thrill of a lifetime. If you’ve never been to Moonshine Mountain in Hendersonville, then here’s what you’ve been missing:
Although it's not the largest snow tubing facility in the state, Moonshine Mountain is one of the funnest places to tube in the snow.
Moonshine Mountain also has a full gift shop and a food truck where you can refuel while you're at the park.
And don't worry if Mother Nature isn't cooperating by sending natural snow from the heavens... Moonshine Mountain makes its own snow. So as long as the temps are cold, there should be snow on the (Moonshine) mountain!
Moonshine Mountain doesn’t take reservations. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. You can check the resort’s calendar here to confirm it’s open and the hours of operation each day. For general information, head over to the home page for Moonshine Mountain.
For more fun in the snow, head to the biggest snow tubing park on the east coast at Hawksnest in Seven Devils, North Carolina.
