The Yadkin Valley Scenic Byway is a scenic drive to a small town in North Carolina. The length we want to drive is up to us. Sit back for the next two hours, if we take the whole thing, and enjoy pastoral farmland, picturesque vineyards, and rugged mountain terrain. The byway begins at the intersection of N.C. Route 89 and Round Peak Church Road or N.C. State Route 1397, about 0.3 miles from the I-77 overpass at Exit 100. Located in the Western part of North Carolina, this route guides through some charming towns, including Dobson where we’ll stop and spend the night.
