Few places of business in North Carolina reach a centennial mark but it’s just around the corner for Dick’s Hot Dog Stand, a locally owned family business found in the Tar Heel State. Dick’s has been serving up delicious hot dogs for 99 years and folks who’ve had them will admit it’s hard to stop with one.
Dick’s Hot Dog Stand is open six days a week (closed on Mondays). The hours are: Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more from its official website here.

While you’re in Wilson, you have to see the quirky whirligigs at a local park.
